Depends: 1-2 yr seems to be optimal for closeness of play, and similar interest, keep up with each other. 3yr there is more sibling envy. 4-5yr the gap is wider and younger can't keep up w older(older keeps a tender eye in younger). In reality every sibling relationship is so dufferentv and unpredictable. Good luck.
