Would really like to have another child in a year or two but afraid my 4 year old might be to far in age. what's the ideal age gap for sibblings?

As a father of four,: I do not believe there is an ideal age gap for siblings. My youngest and oldest, a 7-year gap, get along great, as do my other two, who are only 2 yrs apart. Bringing a baby into the home will cause some stress and require adjustment, no matter what the age is of the older child. It's more a matter of going with your gut as to what is best for all involved.
