Does weightlifting reduce the height and an adult?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Weightlifting does not reduce the height of an adult. The most common cause of loss of height associated with age are degenerative changes in the spine and lower extremities. If the question is can weightlifting in children decrease your ultimate height, it may if done incorrectly. Resistance training can be done in kids but the focus should be on form with low weights and high reps.
