weight loss: Weight loss is a gradual process and should be done safely over the course of months. Exercise is a good adjunct to health eating. However, it will take time. A pound of fat is 3500 calories. A deficit of 500 calories a day, either through eating less or execising more, will result in a pound of weight loss a week.
