Hopefully none: We hope that there are no symptoms but the most common symptom is nausea and it is easily managed with antinausea medications.

Nausea, sleepiness: Vomiting, sore throat, tiredness for a few hours. A lot depends on the surgery and tis effects, most anesthesia effects wear off in a few hours.

Depends what kind: After general anesthesia, you are sleepy for a while. If a breathing tube or airway is used, your throat may feel irritated. Some people feel nauseated. Many people feel surprisingly well and are able to go home in an hour or two. After local anesthesia or a nerve block, the affected part of the body will feel numb and may not be able to move until it wears off.

See below: The first symptom that you will notice is a feeling of disorientation after he operation. This along with grogginess is left over from the anesthetic that your body is expelling. It is possible that you may have some nausea after the operation. This is treated by various medications in the pacu. Pain frrm the surgery is treated with narcotics usually. This can make you groggy again.
