Drinking: After local anesthesia is fine however you may bite your lip or tongue and you may drool on yourself so i would wait. If it was sedation anesthesia ..No do not drink too much being detoxified by your liver and kidneys. If you had an extraction definitely no for at the least three days. Talk to your dentist.
