Need More Info: I'm going to assume you're using this drug as an ICS (inhaled) for asthma or copd; forgive me if i'm mistaken. Other than the mild risk of an elevated blood sugar, the risk of not taking your rx is that your breathing symptoms may worsen. So, speak with your dentist for the final word!

Yes: Prednisolone is a type of corticosteroid drug. It is safe to take Prednisolone before anesthesia. If you have been medicated with Prednisone or similar drug like Hydrocortisone or Prednisolone in the 6 months prior to having general anesthesia, then it is advisable to receive stress doses of corticosteroid during surgery.

Depends: If this is your baseline dose of Prednisolone then this would be alright. If, however, you are taking an unusual medication for you then this would be a poor choice. Discuss this with your dentist.
