Postoperative tired: It depends on the nature of your surgery, your baseline health and the length of your procedure. Yes, it isn't abnormal to be tired for days after a surgery. Anesthesia is not the cause of most postop tiredness. The surgery, blood loss, stress and pain killers prolong this effect. Most anesthesia agents are cleared from the body within 24 hrs.

Possibly yes: Depending on the type or duration of the operation this can be completely normal. Anesthesia is not a normal sleep for a patient. Thus the sleep is not restful and the patient wakes up feeling tired. That combined with the physical damage from the surgery itself can cause sleepiness.
