Varied: CMV can present like a common cold or like mono with fatigue, enlarged lymph nodes, even abnormal liver functions. In newborns it can be very problematic with many symptoms or it can be totally asymptomatic.

CMV symptoms: Cytomegalovirus infection in healthy people may cause mild symptoms to include: fever (low grade), headache, chills, sweats, muscle pain, decreased appetite, sore throat, swollen glands/ lymph nodes & fatigue. Sometimes hepatitis or mononucleosis can occur.
