A member asked:

What's your opinion on treating cmv infections?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Usually none needed: Vast majority of CMV infections are subclinical and need no treatment. When CMV infections may require treatment, it is the associated disease process allowing CMV to be pathogenic that need to be addressed first.
