Everyone is unique: Some respond & tolerate one drug better than another. I like Clozapine but it requires frequent blood tests & has some side effects that some pts find hard to tolerate.

Treatment for schizophrenia is best provided by a board certified psychiatrist. Antipsychotic medications require careful monitoring, especially as schizophrenia is a chronic condition. I like Invega sustenna (paliperidone palmitate) which is an injection that lasts one month.
