Any similarity between getting hemorrhoids and varicose veins on legs?

Sort of: Both are the result of vein problems and both result from excess pressure within the affected veins. It is possible to get one without the other, though, and if you have one, you aren't necessarily more likely to get the other. Varicose veins and hemorrhoids are both common problems that happen commonly, often in the same person, even if they aren't really connected to each other.

Similar: They are both due to over stretched veins. Also they tend to be inherited.
