TMJ: Mostly you are having problems with your TMJ. It is more inflamed on the left side than the right. See a doctor. You can start by taking NSAIDS like ibuprofen.

TMJ dysfunction: Hi Hannah, jaw pain is quite a common complaint. Most instances are described as TMJ dysfunction and settle with rest, and anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen.
