There would be no: way to know if you have HSV1 or 2 without scraping the lesion. Need to see doctor to get oral meds asap and prescription topicals.

Taking a risk: How do you know this is HSV-2? Do you have it elsewhere? Herpes on the eye can be destructive and can scar, affecting the final vision permanently. Do you see a white spot on the cornea? and especially if you are a contact lens wearer? This could be an ulcer which could be dangerous. No OTC products will touch these types of infection. See your ophthalmologist quiickly.
