Remove the cataract: If the eye with the cataract is significantly impaired, then cataract surgery is indicated. Discuss this with your ophthalmologist.

Depends: It really depends on how bad the vision is in the good eye. If it is causing problems with your daily activities, it is reasonable to have the cataract removed. Otherwise, wait until the cataract affects you more adversely.
