CKD: NSAID medications are generally not given to patients with chronic kidney disease as they put patients at risk for acute kidney injury and progression of disease. With that being said, small doses of NSAIDS may be tolerated by some patients. Regardless, chronic use of NSAIDS for back pain should be avoided - Acetaminophen and stretching exercises will help you more :)
