My mom is 77 has type 1 diabetes,chf,had a quad bypass 14 years ago, now has no appetite weak, dry skin,badly swollen legs,can't sleep,breathless,?

CHF: With swollen legs and breathlessness, her CHF may be getting out of control for which adjustment in her medication and tests like a chest X-ray and echocardiogram should be done by her cardiologist or regular doctor.

ChF exacerbation : Most likely your mom is having a bad case of a CHF exacerbation with poor forward flow and needs to be seen immediately by her cardiologist for a tune-up so to speak. Upon evaluation, it needs to be ascertained what caused the worsening failure: 1 or more bypasses not working? Meds she is on no longer effective etc. See MD ASAP or go to ER if so Breathless
