Been takeing the max amount of tylenol (acetaminophen) for about 3 weeks now for pain. now im getting some pain in my side an diarrhea. am i taking to much.

Take a break: Taking Tylenol (acetaminophen) max strength for weeks can mess up your stomach or cause other digestive problems. Pl consult your primary physician for a proper diagnosis for your pain and a plan to treat it.

Possibly: Acetaminophen (paracetamol) at maximum doses over a prolonged period of time does pose a risk to the liver (as does taking more than the maximum dose even once). The liver is located in the right upper part of the abdomen, in and under the area of the lower ribs. Because the liver failure associated with acetamionphen can be severe, it is worthwhile getting seen.
