A member asked:

Trypsin and insulin are both hormones?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Trypsin is a digestive enzyme secreted by the acinar cells of pancreas into the ducts and from there into intestine. Salivary glands also secrete trypsin. Insulin is a hormone, made by the beta cell in pancreatic islets and released into blood.
