Likely a reaction: You might have had a reaction to one of the components at the injection site. Injectables often have preservatives or other components in addition to the drug itself that can cause an inflammatory response in susceptible people. I've seen these take weeks to appear and up to 3 months to resolve. If it doesn't start improving in a few weeks, gets red/warm or you run a fever, see your doctor.
