Ligament noise: most of the time the clicking noise might represent a ligament noise and injury and instability to the joint. shoulder is a very complicated joint my advice have it evaluated by a shoulder specialist

Shoulder noises: The shoulder contains any tendons, bursa,ligaments, cartilage, when injured the surfaces are irregular resulting in the cracking clicking crunching noises.In addition if there is rotator cuff, labral tear or loose body,or bursitis that can also cause cracking, crunching. Follow up with doctor/orthopedist
