Fissure: This sounds like an anal fissure which is a split in the lining of the rectum. It is very painful and often causes bleeding. There could be other causes so be sure and see your physician and get examined.

Anal Fissure: The symptoms that you have described are typical for an anal fissure. I would recommend a fiber supplement such as metamucil (one tbsp per day) and sitting in hot water for 15 minutes several times per day. You should see a colorectal surgeon. There is medical treatment (~ 60% successful) and surgical treatment (~ 95% successful) if that fails. You will eventually need a colonoscopy as well.
