A member asked:

I ate 900 calories of food at 2am. then went to sleep 2 hours later that same day. i woke up at 2pm. do those 900 calories count for my day over all?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: It makes no difference when the calories were taken in. The calories will always count, and be added to the daily total. Of course, one gets to decide for himself when his daily totals start each day (at midnight, at 6 a.m., etc...).
