Is it normal to feel my submandibular lymph nodes on both sides that is about 1 cm in diameter each?

No: but you may be confusing them for your submandibular gland. Swollen lymph nodes can result from infection or rumors. Typically, infected lymph nodes will be somewhat painful due to inflammation. If you fell that ther are swollen for a while, you may want to see your doctor
