Same as original.: For the same reason they formed prior to removal of the clot. A thrombectomy is just a removal of clot. If the underlying disorder that caused the clot is not treated, it is likely the clot will recur.

Just how risky is I & D of large hematoma over the brachial artery? Had brachial artery thrombectomy over 4 weeks ago and it is not going down & has caused incision dihiscense. Surgery is trying home cares first (maybe d/t COVID?) & it doesn't help.
Brachial artery thrombectomy. One week later the site its still sticking out swollen like a goose egg. No bruising. How to tell if this could be an aneurysm?
