Just how risky is i & d of large hematoma over the brachial artery? had brachial artery thrombectomy over 4 weeks ago and it is not going down & has caused incision dihiscense. surgery is trying home cares first (maybe d/t covid?) & it doesn't help.

Bleeding risk: This is really a question for the surgeon, but there is surely a significant risk of bleeding with such a procedure, which will have to be done if conservative measures do not help .
