I'm 44 and for the last 6 months my left cheek has been twitching almost continuously. i had bells palsy 2 years ago. is this related?

Possibly: The facial nerve provides innervation most facial muscles. When there is an interruption of such nerve supply (not only in the face but also in many other areas) muscles undergo denervation atrophy. Denervated muscles can fire spontaneously and cause the twitching you describe. Other conditions may also be associated with such twitching. Consult with you physician if symptoms persist.

Could be: If same side, might be consequence of re-innervation in area of prior facial nerve compromise. But your description could be consistent with hemifacial spasms or facial myokymia, and this needs to be distinguished, and appropriate tests and therapies accomplished. Hope this helps.
