Imperfection: The custom-made mouth guard is more expensive than the other types, but it provides the most comfort and protection and should be adjusted to have stable simultaneous occlusal contact on all opposing teeth. Your dentist should reline the night guard or to re-take a new impression for a new night guard fabrication.

Night Guards: Have your dentist evaluate this in order to determine what adjustments are necessary. There are different types of night guards, with different amounts of retention and often require more than one adjustment over time.
