Can they test for anemia with a finger prick or heel stick?

Yes they could: Do it depends on where you get the test done at. They can do a finger prick, but usually they draw blood. Personally, i think finger pricks hurt more than a blood draw. And also if you are anemic, they may want to do other tests like iron and B12 levels so its better to have your blood drawn..
