A member asked:

When having pernicious anemia, is it normal for my finger to move without me movin them like they shake from side to side & its hard to paint my nails?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Could be: The abnormal movements associated with pernicious anemia is usually due to B12 deficiency and seen more in the young. (folic acid can cause confusion of symptoms and manifestations) adults show more of the sensory problems in terms of symptoms. Just make sure the diagnosis is right and that you are examined and followed well during treatment.
