A member asked:

Pain in right nipple for just over 2 months now. feels like there is something "there" or a lump underneath the skin of my nipple (inside)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The only way...: Get seen with a doctor as soon as possible. The only way to make a diagnosis at this point is with a direct exam. In young women this is usually associated with benign masses or cysts but it is still very important to get checked in order to make sure it is not related to a malignant tumor, especially depending on your family history.
