I have a dentist appointment set for tomorrow for a wisdom tooth extraction. however, just today i woke up and noticed i had two cold sores, can the dentist still treat me or do i have to re schedule?

Cold Sores: i would suspect that they may want to wait. I would call first thing in the morning or go if it's first thing and let them know. They will tell you what to do.

Cold sore: Call the dentist and report your cold sore. They may still be able to do the extraction.

Call the Dentist: The more complex the procedure, the more probable the treating Dentist or Oral Surgeon will want to reschedule. Call their office now to ask their advice. They know your situation best and are therefore best able to advise you.

Call to reschedule: This can delay healing and cause an infection. You will need to give your oral surgery office a call to reschedule your appointment.
