YES: If you inform your dentist and if they cannot treat the bad breath ask your ENT md.

Treatment Plan: Discuss your concerns with your dentist. They will determine if your halitosis is dentally related or not. Only then can the issue be addressed.

Yes: Discuss your concerns with your Dentist. If a dental problem Dentist will treat or refer you to dental Periodontist or Oral Surgeon. If a medical problem, Dentist will refer you to GP, ENT, or Internist. Sometimes treatment of halitosis requires team approach, but most often can be resolved by your Dentist.
