I had right lung pneumonia two years ago. when i rest on my right side, i get the same lung pain. it never really goes away. what could this be?

Pleural Scarring?: There's probably scar tissue in ur lungs from (what sounds like a serious case of) pneumonia (PNA). If u have none of the other symptoms / signs of PNA then residual inflammation or irritation of the lining of the lung (pleura) from that infection. W/o other worrying signs, I think the best u can do is sleep on ur back or left side for relief. Talk to a thoracic surgeon or pulmonologist for advice
