Not a solution: If you have had a liver transplant, you may still be on steroids, so additional steroids is not a good idea. Depending on the type of arthritis, e.g. degenerative, rheumatoid, psoriatic, etc., there are specific treatments that may treat the underlying cause. Local injections only take away the inflammation in that joint, but may lead to other complications. See a rheumatologist.
