A member asked:

Can mvp causes chest pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

MVP: Chest pain is often attributed to mitral valve prolapse. In my experience it is not common if it really happens. Mitral prolapse is very common and very often without any symptoms at all. If you look mitral prolapse up, you will see chest pain listed as one of the symptoms.
