Is my finger jammed or is it something more? i can't bend it to its full capability and it hurts to touch in some spots along with swelling.

Jammed finger: can have many configurations, from a simple cntusion to a sprain with swelling to a true ligament or tendon injury to a fracture. Even fractures can be mild or more severe, all called "jammed fingers" If one cannot bend fully and.or there is swelling or both then see a hand surgeon or a simialr provider to get an exam and xray
