Osteoporosis: If your thyroid has been removed you must be taking thyroid hormone replacement. Your thyroid levels should be monitored every 3-6 months. Osteoporosis at age 31 is uncommon. Can you please forward your bone density data - not every bone density study is done properly. Are there lab data to go with alendronate and miacalcin (salmon calcitonin)?
