See your doctor: You should get your kidneys checked and also have your doctor review your medications to make sure there are no drug interactions contributing to this change. You might also want to make sure you are getting accurate readings from your home BP monitoring device.

Too high: You need to contact your doctor. This much variability isn't normal and you may need further testing to exclude secondary causes of hypertension including adrenal or kidney problems. Blood pressure rises a few hours before you wake up in the morning and peaks in the middle of the afternoon. Benicar (olmesartan) and HCTZ work well together, but further refinements or testing is needed. Good luck!
