Blood: There may be hemorrhoids or a rectal fissure. Inflammation of the colon is less likely. Rectal blood is abnormal and should be evaluated by a physician. Discomfort on urination could be due to a bladder infection or inflamed/irritated urethra and urinalysis with a culture should be done as part of your evaluation.
