Laryngitis: See my tip on this. Try to rest your voice for about three days. Increase humidification in the bedroom, drink extra fluids, avoid shouting or raising your voice for about 2 weeks. This will allow the inflammation of your vocal cords to resolve. If you still have problems after instituting these measures for 2 weeks, see an ENT.
