Depends: Depends on what or if you are taking OTC cold meds that contain phenylephrine or pseudoephedrine which can increase your BP. If you are in pain as in having a bad headache or severe sore throat with your cold this could also theoretically increase your BP. Tell your doc if these things occurred while you were sick when he/she evaluates your 24-hr BP monitoring. Feel Better!
