Get diagnosis: Contact a psychologist who can do an assessment using objective testing. (S)he can make a diagnosis free of the concern that you might be drug seeking.

Who's the doctor?: Let the doctor know your symptoms so (s)he can make the diagnosis. There are many reasons for poor focus and attention. Too common: This is unfortunately the case for so many. A most stigmatized diagnosis amongst the profession. It is both over and under diagnosed and treated. Risks on erring too much on side or the other of the debate. Overall wishing you well in which ever direction you move
