I desperately need help getting a doctor to listen to me! i am so sick and have been for over two months! how can i get him to listen?

Get a new doctor!: Holistic doctors put the patient first. We treat people not problems. Many of us do not participate in insurance because the time needed to provide optimal care is not reimbursed by traditional insurance. Traditional doctors are restricted by the system and are unable to work outside the 5 minute visit. Little can be accomplished is that situation.

Ask Others... : If you feel your doctor is not listening to you, it may be helpful to ask family or friends if they have a doctor who is a great listener. I have one md who i refer patients to. He is an amazing integrative doctor and gets great results for his patients. He has won awards at the hospital he works out of for patient satisfaction, so you may check with your local hospitals for a doctor like this.
