Would not advise it: There is no evidence that ANY amount of alcohol is safe in pregnancy, nor am I aware that that quantity of alcohol, whether in the form of red wine or any other form, is effective at reducing Braxton Hicks contractions. The person you need to be talking to is your OB provider. Rare use of small amounts of alcohol are unlikely to be harmful to pregnancy, but no ethical physician would advise it.
