Possibly new: If your BHCG was zero and now it is increasing and this is most likely a new pregnancy. You'll have to repeat the hormone level and see if it's trending upwards or downwards.

Why would hCG values rise (4221 at 6w4d to 7500 7w4d) if nothing shows on ultrasound in the uterus & there is no evidence of ectopic pregnancy?
