I have been diagnosed with a 6x6x2 cm ovarian cyst. i niw have symptoms of a bad uti. can this be related?

Possiblebut unlikely: I suppose if the 6cm ovarian cyst is causing your badder to poorly empty and therefore leaving extra urine around after you pee, this could cause recurrent uti's. But again, there likely is no relationship. Of course, I hope that you've seen a GYN to confirm that it is a simple ovarian cyst, and not something else.

Here are some ...: A 6x6x2-cm ovarian cyst shouldn't be related with UTI, which is common among women and usually uncomplicated. But anyone with documented recurrent UTIs should be evaluated for possible underlying causes such as stone, poor bladder emptying, urethral diverticulum, etc. Again, UTI isn't related with ovarian cyst.
