Further evaluation: is needed. A referral to a general or colon-rectal surgeon is a good idea. In the meantime, keep BM's soft with Miralax (polyethylene glycol 3350) and lots of fiber in diet. Local care to anus with warm baths and suppositories can also help. Thanks for trusting HealthTap!
