A member asked:

I seem to get irregular heartbeats before and during my period. what can be done about this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Palpitations: If you are otherwise normal, nothing needs to be done. It just is how your heart reacts to your hormone surges. If it causes you unacceptable symptoms during the time you have the irregularities, talk to your doc for treatment, there are effective medications but usually you wouldn't need them.
