Prolactin increase: Antipsychotics can affect menstruation in particular if they inadvertently increase prolactin - which some of the first generations antipsychotics can. This can be detected via blood tests. Other symptoms may include breast fullness or discharge, headaches, and changes in vision - especially in the periphery.
